A Day at Coconut Club Exuma: A Baha Babes Adventure

Waking up on an island is always a vibe, but waking up knowing you’re about to have the ultimate beach club day? Even better. After breakfast at our hotel, we made our way down to the Government Dock, ready to catch the water ferry over to Coconut Club on Stocking Island.

The ferry is $25 per person round trip, and they leave every 30 minutes—so naturally, we made ourselves comfortable and mentally prepared for the rollercoaster that is a Bahamian boat ride. And oh, was it a ride. The sea was feeling spicy, but thankfully, the sun was shining, and our spirits were high.

As we approached, we could see the signature yellow popping from a mile away, filling us with that "this is gonna be a good day" kind of excitement. Coconut Club nailed their branding—it’s basically a content creator’s dreamland. If Instagram and Pinterest had a baby in The Bahamas, this would be it.

First things first: setting up base camp. We found our spot, put down our bags, and did what any respectable beach clubber would do—we ordered watermelon margaritas. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Refreshing, slightly dangerous (because they go down way too easily), and the perfect start to the day.

Coconut Club has all the games. We went from backgammon to cornhole, chess to ring toss, and even axe throwing (because what’s a day drinking event without a little danger?). I threw my drone up to capture some aerial shots before the inevitable Bahamian rainstorm rolled in. And like clockwork—it did. But we came prepared! More drinks (this time, I went for an extra spicy margarita—because why not?), and out came my trusty deck of UNO cards. If you’ve ever played UNO in a Bahamian rainstorm, you know the intensity is next level.

Lunchtime rolled around, and while the menu wasn’t huge, the steak and lobster quesadillas hit the spot and cant forget the fresh made conch salad made beach side. We made some new friends, splashed around in the ocean, and Sophia and I took on the inflatable slide like the grown children we are.

One of the highlights? Meeting the GM, who was an absolute legend and a goldmine of information for Baha Babes. We’ve got some exciting collaborations brewing, so stay tuned for that.

By 4 PM, it was time to head back. We caught the ferry, grabbed our bags from the hotel, and made our way to the airport—sun-kissed, slightly margarita-fueled, and already planning our next trip back.

Moral of the story? If you’re in Exuma and don’t make a stop at Coconut Club, are you even doing it right? Highly recommend, 10/10, would get caught in a rainstorm there again.

Until next time,

The Baha Babes CEO (Uno Champion & Margarita Enthusiast)
