Compass Cay

Compass Cay

Compass Cay is a serene, secluded gem nestled in the Exumas, known for its tranquil waters and pristine natural beauty. This private island offers a peaceful escape, surrounded by turquoise seas and lush landscapes. One of the island's most famous features is its friendly population of nurse sharks, which visitors can swim with in the shallow, crystal-clear waters—an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. Compass Cay also boasts a charming marina, making it a favorite spot for boaters and yacht owners, while its untouched beaches provide a perfect setting for relaxation and exploration. With its quiet charm and natural wonders, Compass Cay offers a true Bahamian paradise, perfect for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the island’s laid-back atmosphere. One of my favorite things to do on Compass Cay is explore the marina and look at all the paintings and stickers left behind by visitors. It’s a unique way to see the memories people create while visiting this beautiful place. For me, Compass Cay holds a special place in my heart as a childhood memory. I spent a week in that marina during our family boat trips, painting signs and creating little markers that would stay behind as part of the island’s legacy. It’s a sentimental experience that brings back fond memories of my younger days.” – Sydney Ginns, CEO & Founder of Baha Babes.
